“They call me Katherine, that do talk of me” -Taming of the Shrew

LOS ANGELES/NEW YORK CITY

I thrive in heightened language theatre. Growing up, I had a speech impediment and couldn’t speak for years. Language has always been very important to me because I didn’t always have access to it. I love performing anything from Sondheim to Shaw to Shakespeare to Hammerstein.

I am from Orange County, California. I was the only 8 year old in Southern California who could do an Ethel Merman impression and keep score at Major League Baseball games!

After attending Orange County School of the Arts for 6 years in the Musical Theatre conservatory, I traded in my sunglasses for a winter coat. I graduated from the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University with a BFA Musical Theatre and am proud to be from the Class of 2020.

I’m based in New York City with strong ties to LA and a deep love for both coasts.

When I’m not performing, I love traveling, the San Francisco Giants, and spending time with friends and family. I’ve been a Giants fan my whole life, and it’s on my bucket list to sing the National Anthem at Oracle Park! In 2021, I even threw out the first pitch!

My dogs William Samuel Beckett (yes, I named him) and Corry back in California keep my heart grounded, and are the real reason I audition as a local actor in LA!
